C. DEBRA THOMAS
C. Debra Thomas is an author, speaker and the Producer/Host of Literary Speak, on the Arroyo Channel 32 and online at www.pasadenacommunitynetwork.com. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley in Psychology and Education, she was a speaker at her University of California, Berkeley commencement in the spring of 1992 and a speaker at a 2001 commencement at California State University, Northridge.
She was the contributing poet for W.I.T.N.E.S.S Newsletter. C. Debra was privileged to write two poems for the bride and groom of the 1998 Black Expo Wedding. She is the Producer of Poetry at Perry’s Joint during National Poetry Month annually.
C Debra has written three books:
When Life Happens: Harvest the Pearls - an inspirational book of poetry about life and what we choose to do with it when it happens.
Wisdom To Go: One A Day for Women Only is a woman’s daily bread that offers succinct counsel on relationships, parenting, being single, health, dying, wealth and aging.
Wisdom To Go: One A Day for People of the African Diaspora is an inspirational guidebook of wisdoms for people of African descent.
Her work is available at $12 each and $30 for three and can be used as supplemental material in college classes, as birthday, graduation, Mothers’ Day, Fathers Day, any day gift giving and as conference gift bag items.
