Cartoon Art Classes
We are opening a new door to foster children & at-risk youth in the L. A. area.
We learn more about those children every year and still at times our findings are shocking. We know by now that art classes are a life time opportunity—one that helps prevent them from becoming one of the 80% of the foster teens are homeless, in jail, or dead within 12 months of “aging out” of the foster care system.
Our Foster Children have a better chance of being able to overcome their unfortunate conditions.
This is our greatest motivation; we strive everyday to do everything possible to guide those children to a better life.
The art classes we provide are friendly and age appropriate.
It is crucial that we establish trust at first and from there our help is focusing on discovering their potential, to let them see their talents and that they can make a difference despite of their conditions.
It is priceless to observe as their free expression is in many cases more than therapeutic and has a healing effect on them.
Our biggest goal is to propel them into a life of bigger opportunities and unlimited possibilities. The self esteem, the problem solving skills, the improvement in their English and Math abilities they gain from our Cartoon Classes are crucial in their future success.
If not you, then who?
If not now, then when?
